A Recipe for Fall

203427-Yellow-Tree-In-The-Fall

I need a reason to prepare for the season

Magnificent hues of amber and gold

Colors of fall, a sight to behold

But, my aching heart is still on hold

Do I dare go back in time?

Mulling over memories when you were mine

Rendering me sad and coloring me blue

I’ve fought rigors of pain since you’ve gone

And yes, I’m finding the strength to move on

By erasing fractured memories of me and you

I need a reason to prepare for the season

Magnificent hues of amber and gold

Colors of fall, a sight to behold

My memories of you will remain untold

That drink sounds delish.. .have you ever tried it hot? Does it work both as a hot and cold drink? We make an ice rink in our back yard in winter and I am looking for a hit cider recipe…

I have not tried it hot. If you try it hot, let me know. I believe it would be really good that way. Wow, an ice rink in your back yard! Sounds like fun.
