Who Are You?

203020-Book-Of-Autumn

What could be more enjoyable than a crisp fall day
Captivating colors of amber, magenta, and gold
Create a spellbinding sight as trees dance and sway

We have not yet met, your story not yet been told.
What a beautiful sight to behold; golden sunlight in your hair
My heart tells me to reach out to take your hand
I yearn to caress your skin so fair

I want to escape with you to a faraway land
Your breathtaking beauty always on my mind
Please let it be known my love will never fade
My heart all aglow as I pine

Moments to be cherished when we meet
Memories will be everlasting when I make you mine

Bouquets of flowers placed at your feet

That was really wonderful and sweet! Just like Autumn itself. Thought I’d drop by and visit since class. Have a good weekend!

    Hey Eugenia,

You must tell us all…did they meet? Was there romance? Did one kneel before the other’s rose and collect the flowers laid there at their feet?:)

Your silky poem is fashioned from autumn’s colours and tailored with words written in gold 🙂

A wonderful composition, thank you Eugenia. I swayed but didn’t quite swoon.

    Namaste 🙂

Now Dewin, if I reveal what transpired, the mystery is gone. Let’s let them swoon in their magical world filled with golden falling leaves and trees that sway with the rhythm of the universe.

🙂 ….those gilded thoughts Eugenia, phew, now I am swooning and perspiring 🙂

But yes indeed, let’s leave them to be consumed by their love and endlessly devoured.

        Namaste 🙂
