A Hug is a Hug is a Hug

211193-Have-A-Lovely-Day

“A hug is the perfect gift, one size fits all,
and nobody minds if you exchange it.” – anonymous

What a lovely quote, not just for the Holidays, but any time of the year.  Hugs are free and yes, one size fits all!

If you reference the definition of hug in Wikipedia, you’ll see that hugging is proven to have health benefits. While the definition is lengthy, it’s not difficult to realize the benefits of hugs. In fact, hugs can even reduce blood pressure and have been found to be useful in group therapy

Oh, and don’t forget our animals.  They love hugs too.  So don’t hold back, share a hug, gift a hug and/or donate a hug today and remember, it can be easily returned.

Thank you to Patricia for sharing this quote as our weekly inspiration.  You can find this event at patriciasplace

I believe in the power of hugs. I am a hugger, though I was not raised with affection. Everyone benefits from a hug, the receiver but also the giver. HUG!

Merry Christmas! I am always a little suspicious of anyone who doesn’t enjoy a big hug. It always makes me feel happier!
