Happy St. Patrick’s Day

A Toast to St. Patrick

Saint Patrick, the holy and tutelar man;
His beard down his bosom like Aaron’s run.
Some from Scotland, some from Wales,
will declare that’s from where he came,
But I care not, now he’s risen to fame.
The pride of the world and his enemies scorning,
I will drink to St Patrick, today, in the morning!

May the saddest day of your future be no worse than the happiest day of your past.

Health and a long life to you.
Land without rent to you.
A child every year to you.
And if you can’t go to heaven,
May you at least die in Ireland.

May the leprechauns be near you,
To spread luck along your way.
And may all the Irish angels,
Smile upon you St Patrick’s Day.

A quaint mountain town with a St. Patrick’s Day parade. Blue Ridge. Ga, located in Fannin County, population 1,290, as of the 2010 census.

The leaders of the parade were Blue Ridge’s finest, meaning those that keep law and order. The rain held off and the parade was a success. A good time was had by all!
