Tick Tock

2016-02-05-21-21-583

“Time flows the same way for all human beings;
every human being flows through time in a different way.”
Yasunari Kawabata

Time doesn’t stand still

It’s indefinite progression

It’s an irreversible succession

It’s a continuous flow

It’s a measure of existence

It’s void of resistance

Our spot in time today

Has already gone away

Tick Tock goes the clock

    Tick Tock is right! Time keeps flowing and it seems at a greater pace every year. I appreciate the time I have more as time goes on. Thanks for sharing with In Other Words. Loved the poem.

    I’m moving between time zones frequently these days and wondering why time makes travel so complicated.

      You are spot on with your comment. I believe human error and things not within our control make travel very complimented.

    Time does not stop… sometimes I wish it would.. and other times, I stop and pause, because I can.

    Isn’t that the truth! Best not to put off today what you want to do. Tomorrow is never guaranteed!

      Thank you. One my beBee connections put one of my poems to music – it was fantastic. Another connection compared some of the poems to soft rap. When I write my poems, I am singing them in my head. Thank you for commenting.
