Foiled!

Shards of Foil

“Most people work just hard enough not to get fired
and paid just enough money not to quit.”
George Carlin

Little shards of toiling

resulting in foiling

A downward spin

thwarted my win

My lack of remuneration

fueled my frustration

My excuses are lame

I’ve only myself to blame

  1. Got to admit,
    I did want to quit
    Finance was low
    With nowhere to go
    I waited my time
    Then followed my mind
Got an idea in a sinch
The bank behaved like the Grinch
    Seven years did then past
An entrepreneur but business did not last
Time to get back in the ring
Ready again, to do my own thing.
    Some advice from my ride
Make your own way till you glide
Eugenia got to have coffee with you
Time for me to interview “brew and spew”

😉😀🤗😎 So how is that for an invite request!!!

  4. I was in such turmoil
    to give up that toil
    for I needed the pay
    to live day by day
One day I threw in the towel
    and picked up the vowels
alas, I’m broke with hunger in my bowels 😉

Silly me, but I enjoyed reading and writing this.

    • I love it! I just started a new Hive (group) on beBee called “I Started a Poem” Here’s my description for my hive.

      “I started a poem
      Can’t keep it goin
      I’ve too much to do
Leavin the rest up to you”

We bees have a lot of fun. 😉
