Tuesday Chatter 47

If we were having coffee, I find there is nothing more pleasing than useful and useless chatter. This is one of those chats that deserves a steaming cuppa coffee, laced with cinnamon and pumpkin spice, and perhaps a shot of Bailey’s Irish Cream. Hmmmm.

In my neck of the woods, a few more amber leaves have infiltrated the trees giving me the impression fall weather is nearing. I was taking a brisk walk about our complex and stopped by Sally Sue’s abode to chat for awhile. She was in good spirits and looking forward to getting out and around to enjoy the sights. Our town has taken on an autumn flair with seasonal street decorations.

And speaking of fall, Sally Sue and I discussed fall hats, which I am a huge fan of hats. I own several hats of all types and colors, which lends me to do some hat hunting for the oncoming season. I reminded Sally Sue that cars don’t wear hats unless you are in the business of public livery or you deliver pizza. She pouted and revved her engine and I had to laugh at the silliness of it all,  including my silly self. To be continued…

 Pointed hats, flying bats

and slinky black cats.chapeau-1293080_1280

Sure signs of what’s to come

some eerie moments on the run.

But there’s still time

to stoke our mind

Once, twice and even thrice

for pumpkins, spice

and everything nice.

For the ghouls and fools

you gotta waitcats2

The day’s not come

to seal your fate.

There’s still time in between

today’s tomorrows and Halloween

While I am thinking of black cats, what’s up with the superstition? Do you really think a black cat crossing your path is an evil omen?  From my POV, this is an antiquated belief from long ago and has no validity. A black cat crossing your path means it’s simply going from point A to point B.  Are you leery of black cats? Apparently, some people are since they are the least likely to become adopted in shelters. I think black cats are stunning and are getting a bad rap. They’re simply pawsome to me!!

    1. It’s easy. Sign in with your choice of a username and password. Setting up your profile: start out simple with name, city/state, what you do and language(s) spoken. You can always complete and add to your profile later.

Once you are signed up, there are several easy guides written by beBee and we bees. Let me know if you need any help when you are ready.

  1. The pumpkins are wonderful! I had a black cat, Dolly. She was a diva and beautiful. She was part of my life for 19 years! I miss her. I like that you share blogs you have found. I have visited beBee but I can’t keep up with WP afraid beBee would break my brain badly.

    1. Wow, 19 years is a long life. I bet she was a diva. I would miss her too. beBee is busy but only if you want it to be. You can just read and not contribute. With that said, it is addicting.
