Tuesday Chatter 56

If we were having coffee, I find there is nothing more thought-provoking than useful and useless chatter. So come join me by the fire while we sip our coffee, laced with cinnamon and a dash of nutmeg. I’ve got a feeling this is going to be one of those chats.

I’m getting an early start on Tuesday Chatter because we’ll be on the road Tuesday. Yes, on our way to Blue Ridge where we are celebrating our fourteenth wedding anniversary. I must say, there’s never been a dull moment, thus far. My husband missed his calling as a stand-up comedienne. He is definitely the king of guffaws.

We’re toying with the idea of taking Sally Sue, or I should say she is taking us to Blue Ridge. She and I chatted the other day about the trip and she is anxious to get out and around. You know my husband and I have no say-so anymore because Amanda, our cat, and Sally Sue seem to rule the roost. Both of them are such divas and oh, so demanding! Our scenario reminds me of what goes on at ZuZu’s Barn. Claremary has her hands full with Roxie and her persnickety ways. Stop by ZuZu’s Barn and you’ll understand what I mean.

Well, enough cat/car talk. Let’s move on to bebeeland. We’re busy bees with the oncoming holidays. We’re a diverse group of bees and I’ve seen nothing but respect for each other’s religious beliefs. Even the political discussions remain at a dull roar. A healthy debate is good at sparking interest and even better if it’s civil. I’m proud to bee a beBee bee! Plus I can’t wait to see pics of Christmas in Spain. It’s a joy to see how people celebrate the holidays in other parts of the world.

Tick tock goes the clock

Father time is taking stock

Of you and me and what we see

what we feel and want to be

Seasons come and seasons go

What we reap is what we sow

Father Time is taking stock

Tick tock goes the clock

Precious time we cannot waste

Cuz life’s ride is not a copy paste

I don’t know where to start with recognizing fellow bloggers. This is my favorite feature, however, the most challenging part of my posts. How can you not appreciate a favorite follower that shares that same appreciation of your work? Well, I was caught by surprise by Snippets of a Traveling Mind posting a Holiday dedication to several of his followers, myself included. This definitely put a smile on my face.

And, I have some outstanding blogs that I am sharing with you! 😉

Knitting With Heart (luv ‘n stitches for our tired old world)

The way I see it… Blogs are virtual, yet somehow real. Hearts are symbols of love held dear. And so, behold my virtual salutation! I’ve high hopes for filling this blog with expressions of creative communication ❤ Jackie Knitting With Heart… luv ‘n stitches for our tired old world.

koolkosherkitchen (Hello, Beautiful People!)

Hi, my name is Dolly. Actually, I am Devorah Yentl, but when I was born, clerks in communist Russia were not allowed to record names like that on a birth certificate. So the woman said to my mother, “Little girl, go and come back with a good Russian name.”…

f3foranswers (Faith, Fitness, and Footwork)

The only problem was, as I walked through the corn fields of Indiana, that I was only really “good” at three things these days. Talking about and helping others through my daily walk with God, being a B-boy, and writing. As the wind blew behind my neck and the rustle of crops whispered in my ears, I was pretty sure I heard God in my head

A little fun with December and the Days of the Year – Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016 is Mitten Tree Day

How to celebrate Mitten Tree Day
In order to celebrate this holiday, the best thing to do is have a bunch of mittens ready, and set them on our Christmas tree, one per each branch until we either run out of branches to use for holding the mittens, or we run out of mittens to put on the branches of the tree. Then when we’re ready we can take our best set of mittens off the tree and head on out to enjoy the wintertime fun!

I’m Eugenia and it’s time to put a wrap on this chat. So long from this week’s Tuesday Chatter and have a great week!

Cheers! 🍵 ☕️
