Tuesday Chatter 62

While we’re having coffee, let’s ponder whether we’re certain or whether we’re doubtful about this and that. This will be one of those thought-provoking chats.

These are photos from the balcony of our back porch. We had more ice than snow, which makes it difficult to get around, however, this is minor compared to other snow events in the U.S. and other parts of the world. I hope your neck of the woods is tolerable if you live in a wintry part of the world.

Winter=Hot chocolate with marshmallows.

Life is like a menu

Unleash options within you

Be grateful for life’s ride

Cast chaotic moments aside

Consider life as a gift

Tethered not to go adrift

Hurdles cower to your stride

Let wisdom be your guide

Be aware of new beginnings

In advance of their endings

Moving On

January 9th is Static Electricity Day and relevant to wool wearers and those who like to pet their furry friends. Static electricity can add some unexpected spark to your life.

Static electricity is formed when two insulators are rubbed together, generating a static field of imbalanced positive and negatively charged ions. When the now charged insulators come into contact with a conductor (like metal, for instance) the charge is released. And this is why you get shocked when you grab a door-handle after crossing a room in wool socks!

Book Reviews, News and Other Stuff  By Hook or by Book

Thank you for stopping by! My name is Kim and I live in Massachusetts. I used to be a children’s librarian until I had to go on disability three years ago. I miss it dreadfully, but where one door closes, another one opens right? I love blogging and most of my posts are book related. My favorite genres are: Historical Fiction, Paranormal Romance, Urban Fantasy, High Fantasy, Horror, Suspense,  Romantic Suspense and YA Fiction in just about any form. Phew! In essence, I guess you could call me a Bookaholic!

  1. Hope you’re keeping warm, and safe, icy pavements and roads can be treacherous. We are fortunate so far, it’s been mild and wet with intermittent sun, but there are warnings that snow os heading our way. ☃️

I want sunshine and warmth and flower n’ veggie gardens. I hate to rush things along but holy smokes this winter has been hideous.

  9. The snow is nice to look at for a day or two but then it should go away. We didn’t get the snow predicted just rain and sleet. Love the poem! Out did yourself, ma am.

  10. I know I’m late but the fire still burns. Thank for such warm, Eugiena style hospitality. I suppose I would rather be doubtful in the hopes that it takes me to some certainty – ha ha!
