Hums of serendipity soften the fall

A snapshot of life won’t reveal it all

Souls adrift miss the beckoning call

Desperately we pretend to be believed

Feelings of desolation to be relieved

    I like this yet feel a certain sense of loss. I think it’s the last two lines.

    Very evocative. I used to fear being alone. I have made peace with it as I have gotten older.
