Flanneled by his blarney
A master of the sweet talk
he walked the walk
Eleventy kisses unfortunate misses
The stone no longer his throne

Maybe he did. We’ll never know. 😀

Blarney can be a bummer if carried too far. He will have to find a new place to talk his nonsense. Thank you for being such a loyal writer linking to In Other Words.

I’m glad you liked it. It took me forever to find the right image. When my followers take notice, then I know it is worth my time.

It was well worth the time.. That is how I used to work with my poems.. I would write a poem and then search for ever to find the right image too…. Beautiful Share.. xxx ❤

I kissed the Blarney Stone in 1989 – some have said that two negatives made a positive and I have been quieter since 😉

Very interesting. Unknown powers of the Blarney Stone?

Haha! I think it had more to do with entering into a toxic marriage and not daring to speak for some years and coming out of it rather more measured in my approach than I went in …. 😉

I love whimsy. Well, he certainly lost his gift of sweet mouth talking. I hope the stone kept him quiet for a long time 🙂
