Missing the Stone

Flanneled by his blarney

A master of the sweet talk

he walked the walk

 Eleventy kisses unfortunate misses

The stone no longer his throne

This week the event is to Write a story or poem of 5 Lines or Less using the word blarney. Please drop by and join the fun at Patricia’s Place

  3. Blarney can be a bummer if carried too far. He will have to find a new place to talk his nonsense. Thank you for being such a loyal writer linking to In Other Words.

  5. I kissed the Blarney Stone in 1989 – some have said that two negatives made a positive and I have been quieter since 😉

  7. Sounds like all those kisses failed to win him any hearts! 🙂

  8. I love whimsy. Well, he certainly lost his gift of sweet mouth talking. I hope the stone kept him quiet for a long time 🙂

❤ aww, love this little poem. I like how it's abruptness brings simplicity.
