Paper doll people so state-of-the-art

One tiny misstep they fall apart

When will they learn there’s no free dinner

It’s a short dance there’s no winner

A fresh new start woos the beginner

  1. all the chatter
    and the world s gone
    the smiles

    just how unimportant
    my hissy fits
    to scream
    and shout out

  2. The flowers were wilted
    Her thoughts felt the same
She remembered when he brought them
They were as Fresh as her name!

    Just seven days later
It should not be a surprise
The sad state of the flowers
A new look from his eyes.

    The Fresh flowers were real
    Eventually they do die
Seems as quickly as the love
That comes from some guys! 😁

  6. I love your “paper doll people” label, people do indeed seem so fragile nowadays, unable to stand up to the challenges of life and the winds of change.

  7. Life is hard sometime ….. We perhaps feel like a paper doll but all we can do is try to keep going!(there’s no free dinner)! Diane
