An in-depth chat with a raven
A rather dark but worthy discussion
It’s foolish to believe there awaits a safe haven
In a world so full of imperfection
But the raven said we must embrace our flaws
Let those that judge drown in their guffaws
Let’s venture toward adventure
Pack our bags with wisdom and sense
Tidy loose ends with a seasoned self-lecture
It’s not foolish to believe there awaits a safe haven
Anything is possible for a strong-willed maven

None of us are perfect, 🙂 or we would not be here for the experience 🙂 But I am so loving the adventure. 🙂 So loved your poem
Have a Beautiful Christmas Eugenia xxx ❤

Such a pertinent poem for me, and that’s a very wise raven. I’m moving on but not that strongly…..

Sometimes what we see as flaws are just part of our character … qualities of our individual nature… (‘Not saying we’re perfect’ though ha!) Diane

I believe flaws are part of our character. We are imperfectly perfect. Merry Christmas, Diane.

I have seen ravens that have swallowed too much, of a lot more than guffaws. Poor birds had to waddle like penguins.

It’s the flaws that make us perfect. Great poetry Eugenia.
