1941-the Andrew Sisters recorded “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy”, a song that became a classic World War II hit.
1960- we learned of the announcement by John F. Kennedy, a 42-year-old senator, he was going to run for U.S. President on the Democratic ticket.
1974- speed limit laws were set to 55 mph by U.S. President, Richard Nixon. The new speed limit applied to all national highways.
