Out of Respect

145454-Cat-On-The-Computer

Let’s not cop a mindset we’ll regret

What we think and what we say may be a duet

Could be a bit risky like playing roulette

Or as dire as a reset of the woodpecker’s peck

Don’t become a marionettist on the internet

Enjoyed the poem and a good take on the prompt Eugenia. Computers should have a 1 minute reflection before pressing button.

Yes, too many abusers can easily hide behind a computer screen. I see this in my social media sites frequently.

As a social media site ambassador, our guidelines are not to express anger for all the world to see. Spill out your anger in a word document but don’t hit send.

It is the old adage Eugenia of writing a letter when angry, sit on it for a few days and look at it when you are calmer. Social media overrides that as it calls for an immediate response, in many cases.
