“Rest, rest, perturbed spirit!”-William Shakespeare

Mother Nature clearly perturbed
Her tetchy attitude quite absurd
Spring’s harmonies are not taught
Songbird ditties not for naught
We yearn to see buttercup smiles
Lavender scents, their grace beguiles
Flowering trees blush in rosy pink
Opening buds give us a wink
The sense of renewal, a lovely vision
Brings creative energy to fruition
Spring is a season of new beginnings
Mother nature’s grand awakening
Let’s put aside all frustrations
And welcome spring with a standing ovation
