Weathering the Elements

She walked through fire

but was not burnt by it

She treaded deep water

but not overcome by it

She braved the howling wind

but not moved by it

She faced diversity on earth

but not usurped by it

The contest of courage

That was great. When I read your poetry, I feel like my words are not even good enough to compliment it. You are very talented.

I’ve had times like that in my life. I’ve had times when it didn’t go this smooth either. Very well said.
