BrewNSpew Cafe – November 5, 2018

340547-Leaf-Covering-November

And the dead leaves lie huddled and still,
No longer blown hither and thither;
The last lone aster is gone;
The flowers of the witch-hazel wither …

–Robert Frost (1874-1963)

Welcome, coffee and tea sweethearts and anything in the middle. It’s great to see you here at the BrewNSpew Cafe where the gab can cause an angled eyebrow. Coincidentally, gossip has it useful feedback isn’t useful.

We dance, we kiss, we schmooze, we carry on, we go home happy. What do you say? Come on. – Walt Disney

Word of the weekschmooze – (verb) talk intimately and cozily; gossip. Synonyms – converse, mingle, mix, network. Noun – a long and intimate conversation.

There are those that feel the need to schmooze

Coz their gab is all in what they choose.

Their yen to mix and mingle,

It’s not that simple

The dwindling onlookers not amused.

The rules are straightforward –

Search for my post. BrewNSpew Café, late Mondays or early Tuesdays.

Once, you’ve finished your creation-

Link your blog to mine with a Pingback. To complete a Pingback: Copy the URL (the HTTPS://address of my post) for the present week’s Challenge and paste it into your post. You may likewise put a duplicate of the URL of your post in the remarks of the present week’s Challenge post.
