Poetry crafted by – Michael Calvert

With callous disregard, I throw my heart to the wind

carried aloft by the winds of my dreams

over golden fields and through green forests,

across valleys so wide and rivers deep,

thus travels one heart in search of another.

Across time and miles I find you.

In an instant everything changes.

as the world holds its breath,

I see you there like a dream in my life.

This engaging poem is crafted by Michael Calvert, a trusted friend. I thought it to be a lovely piece to share. Appreciate!
