      • No Problem. It was my pleasure to nominate you. The awards are both a delicate balance of knowing whether to nominate or not to and whether to accept or decline the nomination. However I am inclined, as you are now, to become for the future an award free zone. Have a great day. Happy Blogging.

      • Namaste Eugenia 🙂

        Well now, your reply had me a little confused for a moment…I have family visiting family in Canada for Christmas and for the briefest moment thought you somehow knew lol 😀

        Do you not celebrate Boxing Day in the U.S? If not then it’s a tradition that harkens back to a time when employers gave gifts – in boxes – to their employees in gratitude for their hard work and labour throughout the year. I think it a tradition that’d go down a storm in the U.S 😉

        Namaste 🙂

      • Hi DewIn, we do not celebrate Boxing Day in the US, however, I agree that it would probably be welcomed by US employees. After researching here is what I found via google- “A visitor from the Commonwealth Realms may be surprised to find that Boxing Day in the United States is not, as it is back home, an occasion to box up goods to donate to the unfortunate. Instead, December 26th is the day when Americans celebrate the box, mostly of the cardboard variety”. Cheers!

      • Ah, I see, then you must set pen to paper Eugenia with intention to change that most unfortunate lapse! An on-line petition should collect a few million signatures, sufficient to at least get the suggestion aired. The U.S is now a cosmopolitan country and could extend itself in new areas to embrace diversity and new tradition. Just a thought 😉

        Namaste 🙂

  2. Riffing Eugenia’s “Work In Progress”

    One and done, is dangerous game to play;

    in lieu of options, let it slide today.

    Don’t fly solo, for solo’s sake,

    That might be a mistake to make.

    A single bloom yields to a full bouquet.
