BrewNSpew Cafe – December 31, 2018 – New Years Eve

“For last year’s words belong to last year’s language
And next year’s words await another voice.”
― T.S. Eliot, Four Quartets

let the countdown begin

goin’ round again

question the bottom line

time to shine

tis time to appreciate

no time to hate

life’s arithmetic progression

seven come eleven

a cosmos bag of tricks

pick-up sticks

keep the endeavor alive

nix the nosedive

respect the swinging door

times of yore

there’s no gifting a master key

life’s a potpourri

can’t fret over who’s who

challenges, a miscue

live for the homerun

not the rerun

Happy New Year! I just visited your blog and shared your sympathies about the Miami Dolphins and the Miami Hurricanes. Hopefully, they will do better in 2019.

New Year blessings to you, my dear friend! I pray that the joy of the Lord is yours throughout 2019 and nothing but good tidings to cross your path. Furtastic poem to start the year off! Have a great day,

I love how you incorporated the countdown with the rhyme, I haven’t seen that done before!
