I would like to think of myself as a free spirit. It wasn’t always so. In my younger days, I wanted to conform. To fit in and to please people. It was not a goal that I could achieve, because even then my inner self would rebel. So I abandoned this quest and by the time I reached my fortieth birthday, I came to the conclusion that I am a free-spirited individual. For me to be a regular, conforming person was not a doable.

So I can say that I am an eccentric! That doesn’t mean that I have twenty cats and have strange habits. It just means that I behave by my own rules. Mind you, my rules are not outside those of the society. They are perfectly reasonable rules, that I to go by. But they are not the ways of average people. I have an urge…

  2. Reasonable to you, of course, but you may be sure there will be people out there that will find some of your rules a bit strange. But then we all live in a rather strange and ever changing world . . . 🙂
    What was regarded reasonable yesterday, but beyond acceptance to day and perhaps even prohibited some time into the future!

  3. I am eccentric- I have 13 cats 🙂 I prefer to think of myself as quirky.

    • I like the word quirky! I admire you for caring for 13 cats, whether it is considered eccentric or not. Poor little animals wouldn’t have a good home if it wasn’t for you. ❤️
