Tick Tock

2016-02-05-21-21-583

Believers in time

and its endless chime

endure its restless clime.

Yet, continue the climb

 to enhance their prime

before the end of time.

 Every moment is woven.

Every moment is golden.

Imagine it’s sublime.

PROMPT

The theme for this week is

ONE MINUTE

The words need not appear in your piece – but the spirit of that unit of time, what it can do to change things, or why it does not matter to us should be there. There are clocks which show arcs of five minutes, time schedules are often set as 7:05, 7.10. 7.30 – not giving one minute any importance. It is all of sixty seconds, but what is a second or millisecond? One breath in life, eye contact, blink of an eye, whatever you can think of……

Wonderful, and how time is flying, so making the most of the moment and what is held in that minute.. I stopped wearing a watch nearly five years ago when I retired.. I had lived my entire working life by the clock.. 🙂 Now time is leisure and making the most of every moment…. ” is golden” 😀
Much love and wishing you a happy weekend Eugenia ❤

Sue, I worked 40+ yrs. in the corporate world so I can relate. I don’t wear a watch either and the only clock I pay attention to is the one on my computer. Like you, I make the most of every moment. Have a fantastic weekend. 🙂

Yes, I understand what you’re talking about. I have 5 banners that slide by randomly. The pictures I selected are from Pexels (a site for images suggested by WordPress). There are some gorgeous photos, indeed.

    Eugenia,

Every moment is woven; every moment is golden – Amen! I certainly can relate to this part of your poem’s expression. Great job!

It certainly is an endless chime, ticking down the clock. The great unknown getting closer and closer.

I really love the flow caused by the rhyming words, definitely has a “time-like” flow to it!
