Little Baby by Cathy Kennedy – February 19, 2019

My friend, Cathy Kennedy, our boogieing blogging Queen, took part in my BrewNSpew Cafe February 18, 2019 poetry challenge utilizing the word of the week, finicky.

Since I am unable to reblog Cathy’s response to the prompt, I am sharing her poetic creation

Little baby so sweet
Sometimes attention you seek
Dries of fussing
Disguise for feeding
Diaper changing
Or simply entertaining
Mama quietens those sighings
Difficult? Not purposely!
Finicky? Mostly certainly!

  1. Eugenia,

Thank you, thank you! You’re such a sweet friend for sharing my little poem with your readers. Maybe someday I will be able to write as well as you and the rest of your poet friends. I consider myself just a lowly word dabbler. The real talent is with the others. Have a pAwesome week!

    1. Cathy, don’t underestimate yourself! Your poems are beautiful. It’s obvious you put your heart into writing them and that’s what matters. Thank you for joining in.
