behold the glorious sunset

as evening prepares for farewells,

we grow accustomed to darkness

Very impressive, how you bring the landscape curtain down, Eugenia.

  4. I go with Michael Todd’s perception on ‘bringing the curtain down’ effectively. I wonder if the cover pic is a photograph or painting or has filters applied, as I am yet to see this shade of yellow in the evening, in our part of the world.

    Thanks for joining in!

    • I found the photo is the Pexels site. There are no details about the photo from the photographer. It could be filters were used and it could be the pollutants impacted the color. If you want to take the time, check out the photos by Seenorway. (I have a category for this site at the top of my page). The photographer of most of the photos and the owner of the site displayed several photos and mentioned how pollution can affect the colors.

      Thank you for commenting, Reena!

  10. There no stopping this fading away, so acceptance. Nicely conveyed here through nature.
