    I love this little flower of sunshine, and grow it among our veggies it helps keep insects away, and brightens up the plot.. 😀

    Eugenia,

    Every time I think of marigolds, I think of my late MIL. She planted marigolds every year filling multiple planters with these cheery little flowers. I have some of her seeds still which I really would like to sow this spring but haven’t gotten around to doing it. Your poem is a lovely tribute to her even if you didn’t know you were doing it. Thanks for refreshing some memories for me.
