amidst the chaos

firmament echoes applause

winds howl silently

“Everything in life is unusual until you get accustomed to it.”
― L. Frank Baum,

Presenting the week’s prompt – You may use the word(s), phrase and/or image to interpret the prompt.

Weekly prompt – scarecrow – (noun) – an object usually suggesting a human figure that is set up to frighten birds away from crops; something frightening but harmless. A skinny or ragged person.

midnight in autumn

best beware of the scarecrow

air dank and frowsy

nightmare hangover

voiceless whispers off-kilter

a pale moon faceless

bright stars in absentia

winds blow in the wind

menace of chaos

    • Thank you so much for the link, Ivor. Wow! Robert Okaji’s work is amazing. I am thrilled to find his site. 😀

I had many issues with this post, which isn’t the norm. I kept losing content, while I was writing my poem. I should write in a Word doc. and copy/paste – lesson learned, maybe!

Thank you again for the link! 🤗
