October is the fallen leaf, but it is also a wider horizon more clearly seen. It is the distant hills once more in sight, and the enduring constellations above them once again.   Hal Borland

Here is this week’s BrewNSpew Cafe Review for the October 7 through October 11, 2019 submissions. A sincere thank you to all of you for your delightful contributions interpreting the word ghoulish, and the corresponding image.

For those interested in participating in the weekly challenge, submit your own post with your interpretation of the prompt(s). Your submission can be in any form – art, image, fast fiction, poetry, quote, etc. Since my blog has some young followers, please and thank you for not submitting anything you wouldn’t want a 10 year old to read or see.

Link your blog to mine with a Pingback. To do a Pingback: Copy the URL (the HTTPS:// address of my post) for the current week’s prompt and paste it into your post. You may also place a copy of the URL of your post in the comments of my current week’s post.

I hope to see you soon at the cafe!

  3. Hi Eugenia: The design of your blog has always reminded me of a cornucopia of autumn delights that puts me in the spirit of this season. I wrote a poem about my mother last week. I’d love to share it. http://onstageformyselfnow.blog/2019/10/15/my-mamas-moxie/

  4. Eugenia,

Swaying trees…yep, we’ve been getting quite a bit of wind lately out of the north. Brrr, it’s sure chilly, too. The shock of that first snap of cool weather makes ya realize summer is gone and the things that are now in store – winter! Ba-hum-bug! 🙂

Ghoulish would’ve been a fun word prompt to join in. Thanks for the collective list of those entries. I’ll see if I can check a few of them out. 🙂
