BrewNSpew Café- November 4, 2019 – Enchanting

Sharing Sadje’s take on the prompt –

Keep it alive

Eugeniais the host of BrewNSpew Café.

And the dead leaves lie huddled and still,
No longer blown hither and thither;
The last lone aster is gone;
The flowers of the witch-hazel wither …

–Robert Frost(1874-1963)

Presenting the week’s prompt – You may use the word(s), phrase and/or image to interpret the prompt.

Because of my blog having some youthful readers, please and thank you for not submitting anything you wouldn’t want a ten year old to peruse or see.

Weekly prompt – enchant/enchanted/enchanting– placed under or as if under a magic spell; having or seeming to have a magical quality; made to feel delightfully pleased or charmed.

In her innocence, she enchants

Her smiles are so charming

My heart, she holds in her tiny little hands

It so gladdens me when wrinkling her tiny nose

She beams at me, her lips parted in a toothless smile

  2. Eugenia,

    Thanks for sharing Sadje’s poem. That’s the way I felt, enchanted every time I see my little granddaughter. I had such mixed feelings about being a grandmother but those feelings turned to sheer bliss the moment I laid my eyes on her. Nicely done!
