Tempest

Sharing Rashi’s take on the prompt –

FICTIVE FINESSE

Storm

Pulling at hair
Unfurling the seas
Stronger than tide
Felling away trees.

Coercing clouds into motion
Lifting the sands of time
Gallivanting across the globe
Humming an ancient rhyme.

Subject of folklore
I'm a truth you can't escape
Wild, fervent and impatient
The wrath of gods
I'm harsh reality
I'm the tempest, the gale

Hey guys!

This poem is a response to this writing prompt. It’s actually inspired by the Greek God, Zeus. Feel free to check out the link. Do tell me what you thought of this poem. I’d love to read your thoughts.

    to look regular and neat
