I enjoyed encyclopedias, Microfiche and paper maps. There may be a need for them again, if things go “poof” for a time.

So true. Everything is in a cloud somewhere and we’re hoping it is safe. IMO, there is still can be a need for paper backup just in case. I enjoy a real newspaper delivered to my door even if the news is fake. Lol.

I start my day, reading the paper after getting groomed and dressed.

Face to face is always much better. Technology has taken over the days.

Yep, I remember the days of using encyclopedias. Today many of these kids don’t even know that there are paper books. Sometimes I think it would be nice to go back to those days. But I’d miss my laptop. LOL

Yes, Chris, I would miss my laptop, too! Especially for maintaining records and handling finances.

So many things have passed out of usefulness and more are forever following them. I’m wondering how long it is going to take to get to old ladies…..
