  9. Beautiful. We are entering another heatwave and we’re hoping it’s the last one this year.

We’ve noticed our hummingbird population is way down. Now if we could just get some cooler weather and get all the fires out.

Have a fabulous day and weekend, Eugenia. โ™ฅ

  19. Definitely autumnal here… last night it was below 40F – I try to hold off on turning on the heat until the end of October early November. – Even with two blankets it was chilly. I had my down vest on this morning when I went to fill the bird feeders!

    • I love fall weather! We woke up to 55 degrees F this morning. I put on a flannel shirt and sat outside with my coffee!

      • It was actually 39 F at some point last night!
I was being lazy about taking care of my raised garden. I brought in one small tomato plant and some herbs into the enclosed but not heated patio…

      • Whoa! 39 F is pretty chilly!

      • A little early for such a chill, but it is what it is with our four seasons of about three months of each… it was 36 F this morning.
