The Ebbing of Summer

summer breeze falters

migrating birds free to go

autumn spreads slowly

  8. Beautiful. We are entering another heatwave and we’re hoping it’s the last one this year.

We’ve noticed our hummingbird population is way down. Now if we could just get some cooler weather and get all the fires out.

Have a fabulous day and weekend, Eugenia. ♥

  16. Definitely autumnal here… last night it was below 40F – I try to hold off on turning on the heat until the end of October early November. – Even with two blankets it was chilly. I had my down vest on this morning when I went to fill the bird feeders!
