Reblog – Photos from See Norway – Christmas Winter Sundown – December 23, 2021

This post is being reproduced from the See Norway blog (the English version). The reason being is stated below by the owner of the See Norway blog. Being that he is a special blogger friend and a very talented photographer, I wanted to share his beautiful photos.

I am still working on my possible exit in the near future, but as you know I do not have a full overview of the situation. Then came this sunset – almost like a ‘Christmas greeting’ from ‘Mother Nature’, but also an opportunity to send you all a Christmas greeting in 2021! Again, I photograph against the sky in the East, despite the fact that the sun, as is well known, sets in the West. The photos were partly taken in the last phase of the sunset and are an utilization of the sun’s last rays. Then it can go a little fast towards the end and with some dramatic effects. Hope there like this? And then we can hope that WP may be a little behind in their plans? – See Norway

The first picture seemed somewhat hesitant? It’s almost as if colors should not appear in an Eastern sky, but – somewhere did I have to start? Already in the next picture, there is a little more motion as in this case! – See Norway

And suddenly the colors became rather massive! The sun is about to fall underneath the horizon out there in the Western sky, or – it may already have happened? – See Norway

I think perhaps this particular photo gives a good background for my Christmas Greetings for this year? – See Norway

This is starting to look a bit like a painting from Rembrandt to show us that nature is surpassing anything else provided one has the patience to wait for the right moment
and being in the right place? – See Norway

Like I just said: ‘Dramatic’! – See Norway
