can’t you see
I want forever
to be me
can’t you see
I want forever
someone to care
can’t you see
I want forever
to be my morrow
and not see
my life
blowin’ in the wind

Great advice
Than you, Sadje!
You’re welcome
To my teen self… let go of angst, be more helpful and smile more!!
All the best to you my dear friend! Thank you for all your prompts.
It has and will continue to be a joy to share writing with you! 💕
My pleasure, Jules! I have new prompts lined up and ready to go, and thank you for your continued support! Yep, some of those teenage years were pretty rough – at the time.
We survived… !
Yes, we did!
Invest in yourself…education, job experience, independence, preferably before you commit to someone or have a family. However, it is never too late to invest in yourself…it’s just a little more complicated if you have family responsibilities.
Your poem is lovely and wise, Eugi!
Thank you, Cheryl! 😊
Happy New Year from Brothers Campfire! Blessings to you and yours! 🤠🔥✨🧨

Thank you! Hugs and purrs! xoxo
When we are young we want forever. As we age we learn that forever is not what we thought. We learn that forever like life, always changing shape and substance, Forever is the future, wherever that may be.
I agree! We are on the same page!
You are very welcome Eugi!
Wee <3 <3 you!
So true!

Blowing in the wind indeed! And very short-lived!
