impulse-ridden folk
perhaps, tangible icons

the spiritual fervor

Good point – the fervor is eternal and does not depend on the icons.
Thank you, Frank!
You gave a whole new perspective to iconoclasm.
Thanks, Reena!
Interesting point of view Eugi.
Thanks, Sadje!
You’re welcome
I think it’s within us all. I believe that’s why some people eagerly search for the true path with many continuing looking and trying this or or that. Nicely done!
Thank you, Cathy!
Well done as always.
Have a fabulous day and weekend, Eugenia. Big hug. ♥
Thank you, Sandee! 😉
Thank you God for not allowing the Iconoclasts to find and destroy the miraculous relic known as the Shroud of Turin of which God did preserve for the seekers of Truth today. Although the scoffers out there still try to belittle it.
💖
Great take, Eugi. Very well written.
Thank you, Indira.

Your piece speaks to these times very well, Eugenia!
Thank you, Susi!
You’re welcome, dear! 🙂
This Idea probably needs to be balanced with
Iconodulism – Opposite of the belief in, participation in, or sanction of destroying religious icons and other symbols or monuments, usually with religious or political motives
We as a society are probably leaning to strongly towards the worship of Icons. Thank you for bringing up the thought
Thank you for you valuable comment, Brigid! 😉
