My favorite quote(s) – #Bloganuary 2022 – Day 22

I have several favorite quotes mainly ones that are inspiring or contain a valuable message.

I am learning to love the sound of my feet walking away from things that aren’t meant for me.”Unknown

No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it’s not the same river and he’s not the same man.’Heraclitus

The magic is inside you. there ain’t no crystal ball” – Dolly Parton

Every storm runs out of rain – Maya Angelou

Today’s a great day to blog, and the Bloganuary prompt is:

  1. Great selection of quotes!

  2. A great set of quotes, Eugenia.

  3. I think the Heraclitus speaks to me this morning.

  4. I really like all these quotes.

  5. One of my favorites has a few variations; by Bill Keene
“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift, which is why we call it the present.”

  6. All good quotes; Maya Angelou’s is one of my favorites.

  7. Terrific! Love them all. Thanks for sharing Eugi! <3

  8. Love these quotes, Eugi. I also like that you quote both Heralitus and Dolly Parton in the same post. Sages of all the ages! 🙂

  9. Oh I LOVE the quotes you’ve shared, Eugi! I’ll have to come back with a short list–there are so many I’ve kept in a recipe box 🙂

  10. These are good ones. Mine is “Age cannot wither her, nor custom stale her infinite variety” (Shakespeare, Antony and Cleopatra) This grabbed me when I was 16 and now I have married her.

    • How appropriate and I knew right away you were referring to Jackie, the culinary goddess and head of the maintenance department. You found a real gem and so did she.

  11. They are all such fantastic quotes but I loved this one the most “I am learning to love the sound of my feet walking away from things that aren’t meant for me.”

  12. Nice💜
