“The key to everything is patience. You get the chicken by hatching the egg, not by smashing it.” – Arnold H Glasow
How patient or impatient are we?
Every day, I notice our tolerance being challenged. And unfortunately, impatience has become a discouraging and growing trend.
Let’s take a look at ourselves. Where did our impatience originate? What was the cause? Was it the impact of negative experiences that started early on in our lives? Perhaps, we had doubts about the unknowns, whether tangible or intangible, where we were offered no explanation? Or could it be uncertainties about ourselves and our future?
Is impatience a sign everything has to be done, at the moment? Is this normal behavior?
Being patient leads to calmness clearing the way to forward-thinking. Makes sense to me, what are your thoughts? If there’s the impression you take too long to make decisions, maybe it’s because you are certain there will be more positive results by completing tasks in a more appropriate and well-timed manner.
I prefer the aura of certainty because it sure beats the feeling of uncertainty. My two cents.
