Ladyluck her name

sweeter than aspertame

but, a hard one to tame

once friends now filenames

all who knew her were fair game

Ladyluck was her name

a wheeler-dealer her game

with no sense of shame

but karma took aim

her brand name defamed

with only herself to blame

Reena’s Xploration Challenge #216

We have an image here, but the task is not just to write a story or poem about the picture or spirit of the picture.

You need to imagine this as a character in a story plot, and write about her.

  • Give her a name.
  • Mention the geography she lives in.
  • What could be her temperament?
  • Is she prone to melancholy, or is she faking it to fool someone?
  • Is there someone she is thinking about?
  • Where could she go next for here?

  1. Your profile fits her so well.

  2. Beautiful penned. Love the sugar aspartame imagery.

  3. I can see her situation clearly.

  4. I was reading about a character hired by casinos to stand near tables, because he was considered unlucky. Then, the situation changes along with developments in his personal life. He is not wanted by the casinos any more. Your characters appears to be the reverse of it 🙂
