Unite for peace

an uneasy world

war is at the doorstep

what do you expect me to do?

don't lose hope to obstacles

and rise above the chaos

praise unforgotten calm

  1. Far away as you are, but people are dying in the streets of Ukraine!
This afternoon a ship flying the flag of Moldovia was shot upon and crew members were wounded . . .!
The state of Moldovia is. by the way. a NATO member nation! NATO, however. claims that they will
defend every inch of NATO territory !? Exceptt shipping then . . .?

  2. I am aware of what is going on in the Ukraine. There is nothing good that comes out of war and I find this a very disturbing situation.

  3. Well penned Eugenia.

Provocative verse. But true. What are we to do? We are the people and yet are we listened to … really? What are we to do.

  4. It’s such a heart punch!

  5. If only those in “power” would read your words, understand and heed them.

It’s a song, what can I do but say prayers for you?

  7. Beautifully expressed Eugenia

  8. My heart is breaking! I am praying and praying for Ukraine right now 🙏💔😥 I don’t know what else to do.

  9. A foreseeable world war is looming indeed. Putin and his cronies have decided to put their power on the pedestals and try the patience of the whole world. 😌 Quite unfortunate indeed!

  10. Well said, Eugenia!

  11. What we do depends on whether we want to stoop to their level

  12. May the positive energy spread! Amen!

  13. More folks need to question why some need to mislead… greedy leadership.
We need to redirect positive force to end all wars.

  14. Rise above the chaos!
And fight for our countryman’s lives.

  15. Beautiful Eugi, let’s all hope and pray there is finally more peace in this world. ❤️

  16. Excellent poem Eugi!
I want to talk to Putin…try to explain that he is doing the worst thign possible…I am one person. He would laugh in my face; in all our faces!
He does NOT want Ukraine to join the EU…that is why he is waging war…..
How does the world deal with a dictator???

  17. I have a friend who relocated to Ukraine last year, she hasn’t responded to chars today, as it hasn’t been delivered up until now. I only hope she and others are safe.

Everything happening in Ukraine right now is so disturbing and quite sad.

  18. These words fit in perfectly with the mix of emotions I am circulating through and provide ground for peace to rest upon!
