I’ve been lucky to go to the lens in a Lighthouse station in WI. Slightly different than a light house. We were also lucky to visit a lighthouse in NJ 🙂
I’ve been to The St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum in St. Augustine, Fl. The visit is very educational and the site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1981.
I was at the privately owned park in St. Austine… where the Fountain of Youth is… I’ve a photo of an albino peacock with its tail fanned open! 🙂

The Lighthouse
I am afloat
In between
Here and there
Am I lost?
My ship clock
Is a sundial
Using the moon
To reflect on time
I hear the waves
Pounding white hooves
A heavy sound
Of many moods
Is the sea growing wider?
Is the light glowing brighter?

Lighthouses hold keeps sailors safe and secrets safe. This photo is surreal. I’m looking forward to visiting the lighthouses along the coast of Maine when we go on vacation in a few months. 🙂
